Alan Spence.: Eastbourne, United Kingdom; Alan qualified as a Drama Teacher in 1986 and he taught in North London and Hertfordshire for over 25 years. In 2009 he started his own theatre company; Theatre is Real Life Productions, which he ran till 2018, producing four productions of three plays he had written. Two of these have now been published; The BORO's 37mins (2023) Nowt Like This in America (2024) and a new book My Name is Tome is being published in August 2025.
